An Evening of Dickens - A Christmas Carol
The Halls Norwich, Norwich, NR3 1AU
Thursday 17th December 2026 7:00PM
In October 1859, Charles Dickens gave a reading of his festive classic “A Christmas Carol” at St Andrew’s Hall, to great acclaim.
Following his sell-out reading at The Halls of excerpts from “Nicholas Nickleby”, local actor, writer and director David Lambert presents a reading of the timeless novella that almost single-handedly created our view of the Festive Season and all that makes it special.
Come and hear the story of the skin-flint Ebenezer Scrooge’s visitation by the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future, and his journey from miser to merry-maker – with table seating, so you can relax with a drink from the bar, this is the perfect start to the Yuletide festivities.
