TCS Music Academy - Autumn Term

At TCS Music Academy, we believe that music should be open and accessible to everyone. 
Sessions take place after school at Teignmouth community School and are for children at primary and secondary school. 

We are proud to support young people in our community to work hard, join in and be kind through shared musical experiences. We aim to create a positive and inclusive environment where every young person feels encouraged to take part, develop their talents and enjoy making music together.

We believe that music making should be accessible to all. That is why our fees are low.

What instruments are available?
Children can choose from strings, woodwind, brass, or musical theatre, all taught by experienced specialist music teachers.

Who can join?
Sessions are open to Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils who attend a primary school in the Teignmouth Community School catchment area or live locally. These sessions are ideal for children who want to try an instrument before committing to individual lessons.

When are the sessions?

Wednesdays,

Sectionals: 15.45 pm – 4:30pm  

Junior Orchestra: 4:30pm – 5:00pm  for students who want to continue playing and develop their musical skills in a relaxed, inclusive ensemble.

Cost

• Sectionals: £5 per session,  (£50 per term) 
• Junior Orchestra: £2.50 per session (£25 per term)
• Sectionals and Junior orchestra £6.50 per session (£65 per term)

INDIVIDUAL MUSIC LESSONS FOR PRIMARY/SECONDARY STUDENTS AND ADULTS 
Our teachers are also able to offer one-to-one lessons, in a wide range of instruments, to primary and secondary school students of any age. please email the tutor directly to enquire about lessons.
