THE LECONFIELD SINGERS
The Leconfield Singers is a thriving mixed-voice choir of around 80 members based in Petworth, West Sussex.
The choir has performed an impressive list of major and small-scale works from the choral repertoire of both sacred and secular music, in venues ranging from cathedrals and concert halls to open air venues. As well as performing locally in Petworth, Arundel and Chichester, the choir has performed both Verdi’s Requiem and Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius at the Royal Festival Hall, London in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
Concerts have been received enthusiastically by full audiences, and the choir regularly goes on tour and has over the years taken its repertoire all over Europe.
