Theatre is a communal act. It only comes alive when we're all in the room together, and we believe that room should be open to everyone.

Every ticket to Island Shakespeare Festival is Pay-What you will. The true cost of a ticket — what it would take for ticket revenue alone to cover our entire annual budget — is $124. We make up the difference through grants, donations, and community support, which is how we're able to offer an average of $36 as our sustaining price. Whatever you give, you're part of what makes this possible.

A note on discounts: We don't specify student, senior, industry, or military pricing because we don't believe any of those identities reliably indicates what someone can afford. Pay-What-You-Will puts you in charge of what's right for your actual circumstances.

Purchase tickets in advance to plan ahead. Tickets fill up, so early booking is encouraged. Walk-up seats are always available when the house opens, on a first-come, first-served basis, for anyone who'd prefer to pay what they will on the day of the show.
