Radical Joy: Anansi at 5
Dubrek Studios, Derby, DE1 3LB
Sunday 25th October 2026
Anansi Theatre Company turns five, and we're marking it with Radical Joy: a festival sharing of new work, on our own terms.
Across the day we're handing the stage to three artists commissioned to create brand new work, celebrating talent from the Midlands, alongside a sharing of Othello's Sister and a panel talk bringing together industry professionals to reflect on the work, the moment and the years ahead.
One ticket grants access to the whole day. Come for a piece, or stay for all of it.
Key times Doors open: 2:30pm
Newly commissioned work: 3:00pm
Othello's Sister: from 5pm
Panel talk: from 7pm
Tickets are free, with the option to donate. Every donation goes directly towards supporting artists and making work like this possible.
Radical Joy: Anansi at 5 is supported using public funding by Arts Council England, The National Lottery and Project Tallawah.
