Join this next pop-up art class at the Zullo Gallery for young artists from Kindergarten to 3rd Grade taught by Casey Worth and Mary Barrett.
In this class, students will spend the afternoon exploring color and techniques, and experimenting with the creative process -- all through hands-on art projects. The experience will also infuse art history into the class to help students expand their horizons!
This time around, the teaching will draw on the delicious artwork created by the late pop-art painter Wayne Thiebaud, whose colorful works often depicted numerous tasty objects, including pies, cakes, pastries and other treats.
Materials will be provided, and include oil pastels, paper, and mixed media. At the end of the class, students will have 2-3 pieces of work to bring home.
