The Grotto will operate an advance booking system to help ensure the safety and well-being of our visitors, Santa and our elves.

There will be a very limited number of walk-up tickets available on the day, priced at £8.50 per child and subject to availability. Once the online slots have sold out for any given date, walk-up tickets will be unavailable.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

If you require tickets for five or more children, you will need to book an additional time slot, as a maximum of four children can be accommodated within each time slot.

Please arrive on time for your booked slot. During busy periods, there may be a short wait before entry. Waiting times can be 15 minutes or more.

A 45p booking fee applies to each online ticket.

On arrival, your tickets will be scanned. E-tickets and printed tickets are both accepted. If using printed tickets, please ensure you bring all relevant pages with you.

All children, including infants, entering the Grotto must have a ticket. There is no charge for accompanying adults; however, due to restricted space inside the Grotto, there is a strict limit of two accompanying adults per visit.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR BOOKED DATE AND TIME FOR SANTA’S GROTTO AT GRAND ARCADE, WIGAN CAREFULLY, AS TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Pre-booked tickets for the Grotto can only be purchased online.

One ticket admits one child.

Cancellation protection is available at an additional cost when booking.

Please note that we are a CASHLESS venue.

Each child’s ticket includes entry to the Grotto, a photo opportunity with Santa and a gift from Santa.

Photos and other personalised items will be available to purchase separately at the Grotto. Purchased photographic and personalised items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or returned where damage has occurred through negligence.

Personal photography inside the Grotto is not permitted. All photographs inside the Grotto will be taken by our team.

Additional Requirements

If your child has additional requirements or may be affected by lighting, sound or busy environments, please contact Yippidoo Grottos in advance of your visit so that we can discuss any reasonable arrangements that may help make their experience more comfortable.

Please be aware that weekends and Christmas week are particularly busy periods, and booked time slots must be adhered to.
