Supporting Young People with EHCPs and/or SEND

This event is designed specifically for families of young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our goal is to provide guidance, reassurance, and practical support as your young person prepares to transition into Further Education.

What to Expect:

• Hear directly from our SENDCo and Foundation Learning teams about how we support learners with SEND and EHCPs.
• Gain insights into the transition process using Yeovil College as a working example, whilst keeping the information relevant regardless of your young person’s chosen destination.
• Visit a range of support stands offering advice on:
  • Careers guidance
  • SEND support services
  • External support networks.
