Ruddigore

Bad baronet Sir Despard Murgatroyd has inherited a centuries-old curse – he must commit a crime a day or die in agony. That is, until the timid Robin Oakapple is revealed as his long-lost brother and the true inheritor of the curse. Blossoming romance will be dashed, and a chorus of ghosts will reappear when Robin’s feeble crimes don’t cut it with his ancestors. In this topsy-turvy world, is there a way to break the curse?

Wymsical Theatre’s 2026 summer workshop production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s nonsensical masterpiece is Ruddigore. Staged at Hallow Village Hall with just one madcap week of intensive rehearsals, come and be entertained by this award winning company.
