Workie Ticket Theatre CiC

Workie Ticket Theatre CIC, an award-winning, female-led theatre company based in North Tyneside, is dedicated to producing impactful work that reflects current social issues. Founded by JoJo Kirtley in 2017, our commitment lies in creating positive social change through theatre. We now have a team of dedicated freelancers who support our ethos including co-director, Ashlea Sanderson and associate artist, Charlotte Ryder. We prioritise amplifying unheard voices, shedding light on genuine stories, and collaborating with survivors of abuse to engage, educate and empower. Specialising in drama for wellbeing workshops, grassroots collaborations, academic support and creating bold theatre productions, we strive to reach diverse audiences and provoke meaningful conversations.
