Lightbulbs Cabaret + Open Mic Night
John The Unicorn, London, SE15 4TL
Thursday 25th April 2024
🌟 Exciting news! 🌟 Join us for a sensational fundraising event at John the Unicorn on Thursday 25 April! 🦄✨ Enjoy captivating performances by talented artists as the opening act, followed by an electrifying open mic session which you can get involved in! 🎤
All performers are LGBTQ+ and Global Ethnic Majority (including Gypsy / Traveller Community).
This fundraiser is a crowdfund for our upcoming play Lightbulbs, this play focuses on the exploration of love, identity, and living in the shadows. Where two lightbulbs symbolise the journey of two gay men in a secret relationship. Our overarching goal of "Lightbulbs" is to foster empathy, understanding, and dialogue surrounding LGBTQ+ issues, mainly focusing on the experience of 'coming out', so any donations towards our fundraising project would be very appreciated as it will get us one step closer to our goal of amplifying equitable portrayals of queer stories, and supporting underrepresented artists.
Tickets are available now! 🎶
If you are unable to attend the event, please note that there is a donation option if you would like to donate a minimum of £3.
*Unfortunately, John the Unicorn is not wheelchair accessible, and we will not be able to support this access need for this particular event.
