Woodford Community Centre Bonfire & Fireworks Display 2026

The Woodford Bonfire is always a brilliant family night out with a separate children’s firework display, a lovely bonfire, magnificent main firework show, fairground rides, hot food, and bar. It is also always held on the 5th November

The gates open at 5.45pm. The children’s display begins at 7pm and the main display will be at 8.00pm. Event closes at 9pm.

The children’s firework display aims for “quiet and colourful”, however, we would always advise the use of ear defenders for little ones.

The best and easiest way to arrive at the Community Centre is on foot or by public transport. The 42B bus runs along Chester Road which is convenient and both Poynton and Bramhall train stations are approximately one mile away and the walk is flat and on well defined pavements.

Parking - there is strictly no parking at the Centre itself. Parking is at Notcutts Garden Centre (free). If that car park becomes full please do do park across residents' drives and do not double park on the road. It is imperative that safe access for emergency vehicles is maintained at all times. Thank you.

Family ticket £30 comprises 2 Adults and 3 Children (3 - 16years) under 3s go free. Child ticket (3 -16yrs) £5 Adult ticket £10

On a slightly less smiley note please be aware that we do not permit any personal fireworks whatsoever (including sparklers) to be brought onto the premises, so please don’t bring any with you. We further do not permit any alcohol to be brought onto the premises and bags may be searched. Tea, coffee, mulled wine, draught beer and soft drinks will be on sale during the evening but the main bar will not be open for the sale of any spirits. Sorry to sound so heavy handed but these measures are purely for your own safety. We want you to enjoy the event and remain safe. Thank you.

Cocoz Grill, Pizzas, Hot Dogs, Crepes, Burgers and Fish n Chips will be available.

Woodford Primary School PTA will be just inside the main gate with Childrens' LED light up toys. If you wish to purchase same, please buy from the school (all proceeds retained by the school PTA) and not any vendors that may be outside the site as they and their inflated prices are not part of our event.

Lost Property
Anything lost or found (property or children) please proceed to the ambulance station which will be in front of the main building. Thank you.
