UNITED IN SONG with WOMEN of NOTE & MALVA VOICE for UKRAINE

Women of Note and Malva Voice for Ukraine come together to bring an exciting mix of music and a daring cultural collaboration.  And all in support of a great and worthy cause.  The proceeds will go to Hospitallers Ukraine Aid www.hospitallers.org.uk, a charity for ‘the relief and assistance of people in Ukraine who are the victims of war, trouble or catastrophe by the supply of civilian relief including rescue and medical treatment vehicles such as ambulances’.

SUPPORT UKRAINE AND UNITE IN THE POWER OF SHARED MUSIC

A licensed bar will be open during the interval.

Women of Note is a well-loved Cambridge-based a cappella group, led by Chloë Allison.  Established in 1994 and rooted in the natural voice approach, this friendly women’s group celebrates shared song through a range of unaccompanied music, from popular numbers to traditional songs to world music.

Malva Voice for Ukraine is a Cambridge community group and a choir of Ukrainian song.  Malva is made up of women who escaped the war that began in 2022 and those already integrated into the Cambridge community.  The choir is led by the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Tetiana Kysliak.
Malva gratefully acknowledges the Resettlement Community Grant by Cambridge City Council, which supports its singing and performing practice.
