Worcester Cathedral Volunteer Open Event, July 21st 2026, 10am.
The Old Palace, Worcester, WR1 2JE
Tuesday 21st July 2026
There's a place for you here.
With a wide range of opportunities, including events, tours, library, gardening, assistant vergers, café, shop, education, and fundraising & finance, there’s something to suit every interest, ability and availability.
Volunteering isn’t just about giving your time. It’s about gaining new skills, meeting great people and being part of something meaningful. Our volunteers tell us how enriching it is to learn, share knowledge, build confidence and make lasting friendships.
You’ll be joining a welcoming community of around 250 volunteers who are truly valued and appreciated. What we do simply wouldn’t be possible without them, and we’d love you to be part of it.
Join us at our Open Event to chat with current volunteers, meet the team, and discover the many ways you can get involved. Learn about our roles, the volunteering process, and find the opportunity that’s right for you.
Please arrive for 10am, the event will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
The Open Event takes place at the Old Palace, Deansway, Worcester. There is limited wheelchair access at this location - the event will be in the Great Hall, on the First Floor. Please contact us / indicate if you have access requirements, or would like further information.
Please note you must be 18 or over to volunteer with the Cathedral. Light refreshments will be provided.
