MOOD MUSIC
Chesil Theatre, Winchester, SO23 0HU
Friday 25th September 2026 - Saturday 3rd October 2026
by Joe Penhall
Directed by Heather Bradford
“The music industry isn’t about healing pain and heartbreak and vulnerability. It’s about selling it.”
In a top London recording studio, a gifted young songwriter, her manipulative producer and their lawyers go to battle over who owns a song. In a gathering storm of bitter complaints and brutal recriminations, Cat and Bernard inflict a devastating toll on each other in a war that only one can win. A tense, witty look at the business of creating hits.
Mood Music is presented by arrangement with 42 Management & Production www.42mp.com
