Jesse’s Anchor is a children’s charity that has been set-up to support families with a child under four, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Jesse’s Anchor is a children’s charity that has been set-up to support families with a child under four, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Anneka and Michelle Langford-Daley have founded the charity, after their son Jesse was diagnosed with an ATRT brain tumour in February 2017. Jesse sadly lost his battle on 18 June 2017 at the age of one.
In his memory, Jesse’s Anchor has been set up to help support others who are suffering the same tragic events that Jesse’s parents encountered along the journey; to guide and assist parents to make the best decisions they can for their child and to give their child the opportunity to smile through their incredibly tough journey.
For anyone who knew Jesse personally, he showed courage, strength and his beautiful smile from the day he was diagnosed until the very end. Jesse was taken too soon, and it is hoped to raise as many funds as possible to research rare childhood cancers and to help provide other children in similar situations with as much hope, information and support as possible.
