Annual Family Tree Planting Day
Keeper's Gate, Park Lane, Laughton Greenwood, East Sussex, BN8 6JH
Sunday 1st December 2024
Join us for our Annual Family Tree Planting Day on Sunday 1st December. The day will run 10am-4pm, join us for the whole day or either just the morning or afternoon session.
Last year we planted approximately 210 trees and despite the rain at times, were joined by 30 volunteers or all ages. This year we're aiming for 300 trees to plant and we want to make it a great event for all the family. The trees will add colour and variety to the wood and provide fruits and berries for the birds. As well as tree planting, there will be family-friendly craft activities, games and play.
Please dress warmly and comfortably and bring snacks and drinks. We will be offering a warm soup at lunchtime so bring a cup/bowl and spoon.
Meeting Point: Carpenter's Hut, up the short track from Keeper's Gate on Park Lane, Laughton. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Hc99ca7wfLBKizHx5
We look forward to seeing you!
