An evening of brass music with The Raedwald Ensemble
Stowlangtoft Church, St. George, Bury St Edmunds, IP313JR
Saturday 2nd May 2026
Please join us at Stowlangtoft, St George for an evening of brass music with The Raedwald Ensemble.
The Raedwald Ensemble is a Suffolk-based group of professional and skilled brass musicians that was formed in 2022. The group has a wide range of musical experience that has been forged through playing in the county’s principal brass bands, symphony orchestras and other ensembles. Named after the Anglo-Saxon King of East Anglia, the Raedwald Ensemble has quickly established itself as one of the leading brass ensembles in the region. The group uses a wide repertoire of music, much of it arranged by the players, that has entertained audiences at formal concerts and village fetes alike.
They are planning an exciting one hour programme for this concert in Stowlangtoft, including a guest appearance on violin by Rachel Prendergast.
Fans of the ensemble can follow the group and see future events through their Facebook page ‘Raedwald Ensemble’.
