24 Hour Show (participant)
The Bradford Playhouse, Bradford, BD1 5DL
Friday 1st May 2026
Ever fancied treading the boards, but not so keen on months of rehearsals? Or maybe you just want to see what a group of people can create in just 24 hours…? Then the 24 Hour Show is for you!
Now in its 9th year at the Bradford Playhouse, we bring together a brave bunch of participants for one slightly mad challenge. The show is revealed on Friday evening… and from that moment, the clock is ticking.
Actors audition. Creatives plot. Costumes are made, props appear from nowhere, and somehow — lines get learned. Through the night, the Playhouse team keep everyone fuelled (yes, there’s breakfast!) and on track.
By Saturday, things get a little frantic… rehearsals, tech, set, lighting — all building towards one big moment: the performance.
So whether you’re on stage, backstage, or just along for the ride — get involved. After all, there’s no business like 24 hour showbusiness…
