The Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts
The Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts is a charitable organisation run by volunteers and founded in 1906.
The annual festival incorporates Speech, Drama and Music in May, and the Piano Festival in October each year.
2026 will see the 120th edition of the event , elements of which have been held in the Kings Hall since it began in 1906.
We provide a wide opportunity for performers of all ages , abilities and cultural heritage to play to an audience. All performers receive constructive and encouraging professional feedback from our team of adjudicators, and we pride ourselves in striving always to be an inclusive festival, encouraging children and adults with additional needs to take part.
