WAWS Workshop 3 - Beginners Drop Spindle Spinning

Beginner - does not need any previous skill at all

Materials included
Fibre suitable for spinning
Use of a drop spindle
Materials for winding and finishing your spun yarn

You will spin your own yarn using a drop spindle, creating a small amount of handspun yarn to take home. You will leave with an understanding of the basic principles of spinning, including drafting, twist, and fibre control, so you can continue practising at home.

Ticket admits entry to the workshop only.  Please note you need to purchase a separate 10am timed entry ticket for the show to access this workshop. 

Workshops are held in the Atrium Suite area please report to the Workshop Desk at least 5 mins before the workshop is due to start.
