Wendy Shearer | Tales That Dance
The Beacon, Wantage, OX12 9BX
Saturday 30th May 2026
Author and Storyteller Wendy Shearer will share her favourite African and Caribbean stories of clever tricksters and wise kings of the rainforest. With a sprinkle of sunshine and a dash of sea-breeze, everyone is welcome to join in these wonderful tales that dance off the page.
Tickets are free and snapped up on a first‑come, first‑served basis - everyone attending will need their own ticket, so please make sure each member of your party is covered, regardless of age. Please only book if you’re planning to join us. We’d hate for anyone to miss out because of no‑show bookings! Thank you.
This event takes place on the first floor of the building, which is accessible by both stairs and a lift. If you have any specific mobility needs, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for you and your family.
