Voices for Life

Voices for Life is a UK charity that brings the power of musical experience into the classroom and then gives children the unforgettable experience of performing on stage. Our aim is to give every child the opportunity to be happy and confident through music. 

We believe that the creative joy and life-changing potential of quality music education should be accessible to all primary school children, regardless of background or ability. Our singing and emotional wellbeing projects complement the national curricula for music and personal, social and health education (PSHE), taking all children on a journey of self-discovery and growth through music and performance. From in-school wellbeing workshops, to community choirs and multi-school massed performances, we seek to break down barriers to access and bring children together across social divides. Our professional musicians and wellbeing facilitators help nurture the confidence, passion and skills of each child, enabling them to explore their potential and discover how powerful a tool music can be for expressing their emotions. Through performance opportunities, all children are given the chance to show their communities – and themselves – what they are truly capable of.
