Gamay- France's Perfect Summer Red Wine

The grape Gamay is often times an under-the-radar varietal that doesn't see the mainstream. But amongst those "who know", it's one of the most delicious, versatile, and bang-for-your-buck red wines to exist. From light and crushable gamays that taste of juicy pinot noir and are perfect a bit chilled, to unctuous and richer "Cru Beaujolais" that approach the Cab/Merlot end of the spectrum... the grape is dynamic. 
It's an ideal accompaniment to a simple backyard summer grill out, but it also sees the lists of many Michelin Star Restaurants and deserves a spot on every Thanksgiving table. Did I mention it's also made into irresistible rose and sparkling wines?

It's hard not to be excited for this tasting.

We'll be tasting through 6 different gamay wines with 2oz pours of each. As always, the wines will be curated and presented by local Sommelier, Zach Jindra.
