Stoke-on-Trent Food Partnership Winter Conference: Impact 2026
The Bridge Centre, Stoke on Trent, ST2 8DD
Friday 6th November 2026
Impact 2026 will be a catalyst for transforming Stoke-on-Trent’s food system into one that is fairer, greener, and more resilient.
Bringing together community voices, policy makers, businesses, and innovators, we aim to co-create practical solutions that make nutritious food more affordable, more available, and more sustainable for everyone in our city.
Lived experience will be threaded through the day, highlighting challenges and solutions relating to food availability, affordability, and sustainability, and offering local people a platform to ‘speak their truth to power.’
We’ll also be drawing inspiration from real-world projects that support people in our city, providing valuable learning opportunities to peers and colleagues and providing hands-on insight around our communities’ own responses to availability, affordability, and sustainability.
Alongside compere Rev Geoff Eze, we’re looking forward to welcoming two fantastic keynote speakers:
Samir Karnik Hinks, Communities Lead at Feeding Liverpool, will reveal how his team has harnessed lived experience and partnerships to transform their local food system.
Dr Rosa Fernandez Martin, Senior Lecturer in Economics and Finance at Keele University, will be challenging us to better harness research and evidence in pursuit of a fairer food system.
