Exploring the wonders of Old Castle Down

 Old Castle Down is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and is home to Wales's rarest butterfly, the high brown fritillary.  The Down has an amazing variety of wildlife throughout the year so there's always something to see whether your interest is birds, plants, butterflies (and other insects) or reptiles.  Learn more about the work being done to save Wales's rarest butterfly and how working with the local community is helping this.  You'll also have spectacular 360-degree views from the peak of the Down (weather permitting).
