Oddments Theatre Company Present: Light in my Darkness

The true story of a woman who lost 15 years of her life in a mental institution, but finally found freedom and chose to forgive.

This is a remarkable story of a girl’s childhood faith sustaining her despite being wrongly kept in a mental institution for 15 years. Littered with light-hearted moments, the play concludes with Lisa’s release and chance at a new life. Raw and relatable, the play touches on topics such as mental illness and restoration, weaving a message of hope, faith and forgiveness throughout this true story.
