Sound Relaxation Session with Anne Green
B8b, UG Common Room, Physics Building, Nottingham, NG7 2RD
Wednesday 4th November 2026 1:00PM
Take a break from equations, screens and deadlines, and let vibrations and waves do the work.
The session will begin with a brief introduction to sound baths: what they are, and how listening to immersive sounds can help people switch off and relax. You’ll then spend 30–40 minutes listening to gongs, singing bowls and other instruments, with no need to do anything except get comfortable and let the sounds wash over you.
Chairs will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring anything that will help you relax, such as a blanket, cushions or a yoga mat.
