Half Cat Music presents: OBTRAM3+John Butcher (LPs Launch)

Half-Cat Music present a live concert, a label celebration, and the release of 2 LPs – 'Hastings London' & 'OBTRAM3' ... all rolled into one wild evening. Expect improvised music, noise, text, and more.

OBTRAM3 – Olie Brice (double bass), Anthony Moore (noise), Tullis Rennie (trombone & electronics) – are joined by John Butcher (saxophones), to celebrate the launch of the new Half-Cat LPs 'OBTRAM3' and 'Hastings London', the latter featuring live recordings of improvisations with John Butcher and Matthias Muche (trombone) made at The Pig, Hastings and Cafe OTO, London.

Half-Cat Music is an independent record label driven by Anthony Moore and James Endeacott rooted in a creative ethos of dreams and experimentation. Its purpose is to disseminate news and availability of the more experimental musical projects Moore and others continue to be involved in. This includes collaborations with Peter Blegvad, Therapeutische Hoergruppe Cologne, his trio OBTRAM3 with Tullis Rennie & Olie Brice, the trio's collaboration with John Butcher & Matthias Muche, and a second trio, 'AKA' with Amanda Thompson and Keith Rodway. Further projects are at differing stages of completion and will be released in the near future.
