The Importance of Being Earnest

"The truth is rarely pure and never simple". Jack and Algy separately invent a brother and an absurdly sick friend to avoid the truly awful fate of being sensible. Then they both fall in love. What could possibly go wrong? Oscar Wilde’s brilliant comedy of manners hilariously exposes the calamitous consequences of not being entirely earnest… Studio at True Life Productions brings David Sear’s delightful take on ‘A Trivial Comedy For Serious People’ to The Great Hall at The Leys this December for a festive treat that just might make you laugh all the way to 2027!
