Afternoon Art Club (12+)- Oil Painting
Trowbridge Museum, Trowbridge, BA14 8AT
Wednesday 15th April 2026
Our new series of Afternoon Arts workshops for ages 12+ explores different approaches and techniques to creating 2D and 3D artworks.
Oil Painting: One of the most traditional of art techniques, oil painting has been widely used for over 500 years. Many great artists such as Rembrandt, Turner, Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keefe worked in oils. Oils are very exciting paints to use and there are lots of different techniques, but they do take a longer to dry so this workshop covers two sessions. As usual, that means it’s two sessions for the price of one!
