Afternoon Art Club (12+)- Kinetic Art
Trowbridge Museum, Trowbridge, BA14 8AT
Thursday 14th May 2026
Our new series of Afternoon Arts workshops for ages 12+ explores different approaches and techniques to creating 2D and 3D artworks.
Kinetic Art: Our final session in this series looks at kinetic sculpture and mobiles. The most famous exponent was probably the American artist, Alexander Calder, who created wonderful sculptures moved by the air or motors. In this workshop we’ll be manipulating wire and other materials to create delicately balanced 3D sculptures.
