TramShed Theatre Company
Inclusive theatre that changes lives.
We aim to bring individuals together to create outstanding, original and beautiful theatre which inspires and celebrates everyone.
Working across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde our work has a powerful, life-changing impact on participants, volunteers and audiences. No member at TramShed is excluded, only celebrated.
Our work
We welcome individuals from all over the northwest and pride ourselves in ensuring that no member at TramShed is excluded, only celebrated. We offer inclusive performing arts to all children, young people and adults, no matter what their background, experiences or needs. Our members are given a stimulating theatre environment which allows them to learn new skills, build confidences and showcase their talents. Our artistic team are the best inclusive arts practitioners we could ask for. You haven’t experienced theatre until you’ve experienced inclusive theatre.
Our members are at the heart of everything we do. We devise content and project themes based on their ideas, thoughts and feelings. And we write our creative material in-house, so everything we produce is original. Our main company is split into:
Mini Children’s Theatre (4-7 years)
Children’s Theatre (8-12 years)
Youth Theatre (13-16 years)
South Pier (17-23 years)
Central Pier (24-33 years)
North Pier (34+ years)
We’re proud of our work in the community as it means we can involve people who have previously been excluded from performing arts, through no fault of their own.
