Eras — A Mixtape Through Time
Year 1 Musical Theatre and Dance
21–22 January 2027
The Manchester College presents Eras — A Mixtape Through Time, performed by our Year 1 Musical Theatre and Dance students.
Press play on a journey through five unforgettable decades. From the swinging sixties and disco-filled seventies to the bold sounds of the eighties, the attitude of the nineties, and the pop culture of the noughties, Eras celebrates the music, movement, and fashion that helped define generations.
Each decade brings a new atmosphere, inviting audiences to discover how changing sounds and styles have shaped the way we perform and express ourselves. Colourful costumes, contrasting dance styles and theatrical performances bring this musical timeline to life.
Celebrating both familiar favourites and the excitement of discovering a different era, this production gives our first-year performers the opportunity to share their versatility and developing artistry.
Whether you remember these decades first-hand or know them through your favourite playlists, join us for a nostalgic journey with plenty of fresh energy.
