Glenkens Song Day Workshop
CatStrand, New Galloway, DG7 3RN
Sunday 22nd February 2026
Spend the day at the CatStrand to be inspired and guided by Choral Tutor Kate Howard to learn, sing and perform songs from our beautiful Glenkens. Kate brings her wealth of knowledge and expertise to create, blend and give confidence to many voices in the region. Light lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price, combined with a ticket to the Glenkens Songs and Words evening concert where there will be a combined performance of the songs and words explored and learnt at the workshop.
Sections of the Workshop and the evening concert will be filmed to be uploaded onto the Cultural Glenkens Archive on The Glenkens Hub.
Please contact jo@catstrand if you would not wish to be included in the filming.
This event was made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to The National Lottery Players.
