HIGH NOTES FROM IN THE SKY / Dark Sky Jazz
CatStrand, New Galloway, DG7 3RN
Sunday 20th September 2026
Step into a world of weightless melodies and high‑altitude calm. Richard Davies brings High Notes From In The Sky to life in a rare solo performance for soprano sax - a drifting, dreamlike journey through jazz, ambient textures, and sky‑level improvisation. A quiet room, a single horn, and music that feels like it’s floating above the city.
A one‑of‑a‑kind night for fans of modern jazz, ambient tone‑painting, and boundary‑pushing sax. Check out the album first: https://richarddavies.bandcamp.com/album/high-notes-from-in-the-sky
