Catch Me if You Can
Factory Playhouse Theatre, Hitchin, Herts, SG4 0TA
Saturday 20th March 2027
Catch him if you can…
It’s the 1960s, and teenager Frank Abagnale Jr. is ready to make his mark on the world. Armed with charm, confidence and a talent for deception, he runs away from home and begins an extraordinary adventure – posing as a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer, all while living the high life.
There’s just one problem. FBI Agent Carl Hanratty is on his trail – and he’s determined to catch him.
Based on the incredible true story that inspired the hit film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, Catch Me If You Can is a fast-paced, high-flying musical comedy packed with sharp humour, spectacular choreography and a sensational swinging score from Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, the award-winning writers behind Hairspray.
Beneath the glamour, lies and larger-than-life adventures is a story about family, identity and a young man searching for somewhere – and someone – to call home.
Fasten your seatbelts and join us at the Factory Playhouse. The chase is on.
STROBE/FLASH WARNING: Catch Me if You Can features flashing lights and strobes, as well as loud noises and some special effects which may be sensitive to some viewers.
