The Berwyn Bookshop are celebrating ‘spooky season’ in style once again, and what better way than with an evening of folk horror chat with the very excellent David Barnett!
It’s been far too long since his last visit, so make sure you join us to catch up with David, as we chat all about his latest book, Twisted Pike.
For those who have previously read David’s three previous folk horror novels, you will be delighted to discover a return to the village of Withered Hill, as Twisted Pike sees a film crew descends to shoot a low-budget horror movie. We cannot wait to discover what pagan nightmares the villagers have in store for them!
David is an author, journalist and comic book writer based in West Yorkshire. He writes in a range of genres for various publishers, works for a wide variety of press outlets including the Guardian, Independent and BBC, and in comics has written for DC, 2000AD and more. He is also an absolutely fantastic speaker, so you really do not want to miss this event…
