We’ll be visiting Golf Links Estate, designed by Stephen Taylor Architects, with the visit led by Pepyn Nolet. The tour will offer an opportunity to explore the project in more detail, and hear about the thinking behind the design.
Golf Links Estate Phase 3 is a 143-home social rent and first-time buyer scheme in three buildings around a re-landscaped Greenway Park. The scheme, developed by London Borough of Ealing, delivers Passivhaus certified dwellings, new public routes and the estate's first retail. Stephen Taylor architects drew on the scale and permeability of London's 19th-century mansion blocks and the material ethos of the Arts and Crafts movement, giving each block faceted bay windows of alternately acute and obtuse geometry.
