The Mercutio Troupe's Bug

The Mercutio Troupe presents: Tracey Letts' Bug, directed by Maya Sien.

Within the walls of a dingy, seedy Oklahoma motel room a man and woman find themselves in folie a deux- lunacy for two. When lonely Agness is introduced to Peter Evans, a paranoid gulf war veteran, the two enter a never-ending dance of madness as they descend into a shared, terrifying mass delusion involving invasive government experiments and microscopic bugs burrowing into their skin. The play explores themes and patterns of conspiracy culture, isolation, and vulnerability, truly demonstrating that no one is invincible, and exactly what the human mind is capable of.
