Brahms – A German Requiem
All Saints Church Odiham, Hampshire, RG29 1ND
Sunday 15th November 2026 7:00PM
Join the Jubilee Choir for their first concert of the 2026/27 season: Brahms's A German Requiem.
Brahms's requiem is a secular one, composed in response to the death of his mother. It has become one of the pinnacles of the Western choral repertoire. The Jubilee Choir will perform the piece in its intimate arrangement for piano four-hands and be joined by up-and-coming soloists for London. The piece is a profound meditation on grief, hope, and comfort, which equally consoles and uplifts.
