The Henley Jazz Festival Presents ‘A Night in Havana’ with the Buena Bristol Social Club
For one night only, Henley Town Hall transforms into a sultry, neon-lit Havana dance club of yesteryear.
Get ready for irresistible Cuban rhythms as master trumpeter Michel Padrón leads the world-class nine-piece Buena Bristol Social Club on a journey through Son Cubano, salsa and rumba.
Before the lights dim, expert dance instructors will lead a salsa taster class, showing you the essentials and helping you break the ice before the band takes the stage. Whether you’re a seasoned salsero or a total beginner, this is a slice of Havana heaven not to be missed!
And when the live band finishes, the party carries on: a salsa DJ will take over the music and keep you dancing until just before midnight.
Dress code: 1950s Cuban dance hall glamour, with a prize for the best dressed.
