Unearth the past at our Home Education Archaeology Day at The Commandery!
Budding archaeologists will discover how history is uncovered through a day of hands-on exploration and investigation.
Take part in exciting archaeological digging activities, follow an interactive trail around the historic building to learn about the tools and techniques archaeologists use, get up close to real archaeological finds discovered at The Commandery, and create your own craft inspired by these fascinating objects. You'll get to make sand art bottles; the different layers of soil show where artefacts from different time periods would be found.
