A SEA SYMPHONY

At the heart of this inspiring celebration of English music is Vaughan Williams - A Sea Symphony, a brilliantly colourful and dramatic choral masterpiece that - through the poetry of Walt Whitman - captures the essence of our maritime heritage.  Never can as dramatic a choral opening as "Behold the Sea" be more apt.  The concert also includes Elgar's ever popular Enigma Variations and, as a stirring opening to the programme, Parry - Blest pair of sirens.
