Sunday 30th August 2026

Chill on the Hill is back for 2026 and celebrating its 5th birthday!

Join a family-friendly day celebrating nature, food, arts and community. Whatever the weather, enjoy live performances, music, creative workshops and delicious local food, all set in the beautiful country park of Ham Hill.

Time spent in nature and the arts can do wonders for our wellbeing, helping us slow down, reconnect, and… chill!

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
We've worked hard to keep costs low so that everyone can enjoy a fantastic day out. As a charity, we really appreciate the support from local organisations (see logos) to help make this possible.

We also rely on the generosity of the people who come on the day! Every donation, no matter the size, helps us cover event costs and bring even more family-friendly events to the area in the future.

1) EVENT ENTRY
We suggest a donation of at least £1 per person, and you can make your contribution when you register your attendance online. Your support helps fund an exciting programme, including the spectacular circus performance by The Pirates of the Carabina, along with many other activities throughout the day.

Donations can also be made on the day. While this is predominantly a cash event, we'll be accepting both cash and card donations. You'll find donation buckets around the site and card payment facilities at our Donation Stations.

Thank you for supporting your local community and helping us keep events like Chill on the Hill accessible for everyone.

2) DROP IN ARTS & NATURE ACTIVITIES
Enjoy free-flowing activities throughout the day (first-come, first-served). We know that the artists running them would appreciate a small donation for bringing a smile to your face or keeping your children or parents occupied for a few minutes!

3) CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS, ARTISTS & LOCAL FOOD
As in previous years, we will be running a morning workshops programme.  These will have limited places and often sell out before the event, so we encourage you to pay for them in advance. Check out our workshops below and click to book: If there are spaces remaining we can take cash or card on the day.
