My Life as a Seagull
The Festival Hub, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1HL
Thursday 15th October 2026
What if grief requires a big, padded costume and a long hard beak?
My Life as a Seagull is a one-woman show following Emma Williams’ journey from terrified street performer to celebrated seagull impersonator. It isn’t a guide on how to ‘recover’ from loss, but a compassionate exploration of one person’s attempt to live alongside grief.
Emma, a theatre writer, director and bereaved sister, will present the first ten pages of her show, script in hand. She’ll share initial ideas, gather feedback and discuss where the project might lead. Join her over lunch to listen and contribute your thoughts.
Suitable for all ages. Sandwich lunch provided.
