WORKSHOP Jarred McGinnis - Memory and Story

We all remember events in a different way depending on our circumstances when they happened. For example your sibling might have a different recollection because they were older or younger. How does that change our perception and recall? The author of the award-winning novel The Coward invites you to bring a parent, another family member, a close friend or come alone to this unique workshop based on shared memories and experiences. He’ll show you how to remake or write those funny, profound, chaotic stories that shape your lives together and you will leave with techniques for drawing out memories - whether you’re writing a family history or piece of fiction, or just want to share how you remember the past.
