URINETOWN - The Musical

A side-splitting send-up of greed, love, revolution (and musicals!), in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.

Urinetown is a razor‑sharp, Tony Award‑winning musical satire set in a drought‑stricken, Gotham‑like city where private toilets are outlawed and citizens must pay a ruthless corporation for the basic right to pee. When a brave young man challenges this corrupt system, a full‑blown revolution erupts.
Inspired by Brecht and Weill, the show skewers capitalism, politics, bureaucracy, social irresponsibility and even musical theatre itself, blending outrageous humour with unexpected heart. With its modern wit, bold storytelling and unforgettable score, Urinetown reimagines the “comedic romp” for a new era.
