Three highly articulate classical music singers, all with the surname Gilchrist, represent characters from Mozart's operas: The Magic Flute, Cosi Fan Tutte and The Marriage of Figaro.
Music from the operas, in chamber arrangements by Mozart's Viennese contemporaries, is performed by Trio Notturno (flute, viola, guitar) with violinist Flora Curzon.
Each singer advocates for his chosen character to remain in the balloon. Directed by show host Thomas Guthrie, you, the audience, get to vote!
