Slamovision 2026: Grand Final Watch Party

Join Spork! and Exeter UNESCO City of Literature at Exeter Library for a special watch party as the world’s finest spoken-word poets go head-to-head in the Slamovision 2026 Grand Final!

Hosted this year by Iowa City, Slamovision brings together poets from UNESCO Cities of Literature across the globe, competing for the coveted title of Slamovision Champion.
Expect incredible performances, powerful words, international camaraderie, and all the nail-biting excitement of a Eurovision!

Flying the flag for Exeter this year is the brilliant Casey Garfield, who won our annual City Slam competition back in April, and is now taking their poetry to the international stage!

We’ll be streaming the Grand Final live from Iowa City, so come along, settle in with fellow poetry fans, discover some extraordinary voices from around the world - and let's cheer Casey on!

Whether you’re a spoken-word regular or completely new to poetry, everyone’s welcome. No knowledge of poetry (or Eurovision!) required - just bring your enthusiasm and get ready for a brilliant evening of words from around the world.

Entry is completely free, and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks, including alcohol.

Please note: The 9:30pm finish time is approximate and will depend on the live broadcast.
